In 2024, Henan Zonghai Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. supplied flexible biogas digester equipment for a pilot farm project in West Java. The objective was to evaluate how flexible membrane digesters perform under Indonesia’s humid tropical climate while supporting farm waste management.

Environmental Conditions


The farm involved in the project raised 14 cattle, producing a steady supply of manure suitable for biogas fermentation.

Operating Conditions

  • 20–25 kg of cattle manure
  • Water mixed at approximately 1:1 ratio


Under local temperatures around 30°C, microbial fermentation proceeded within the digester without additional heating.


Gas produced by the system accumulated in the digester chamber and was transported through a low-pressure pipeline to the farm’s cooking area.


The digester also produced liquid digestate that flowed into a small collection tank.

Observed Results


After several months of operation, the farm integrated the digester system into routine waste management practices.
